The Dongfeng 2004-5 tractor is a brand new model launched by Dongfeng in Changzhou in 2018. Nowadays, the domestic market for high-powered tractors is mainly divided between the “Luoyang series” and the “Weifang series”. Although there are a wide variety of products, they may not be able to meet all working conditions. Taking the common TF and TG chassis in the market as an example, the difference in chassis weight between the two is about one ton. When the TF chassis is not enough and the TG chassis cost is too high, the Dongfeng 2004-5 machine is more suitable. The minimum usable weight is 6110kg, and the fuel weight is 300kg. So far, neither the “Luoyang series” nor the “Weifang series” have products of equal weight.

The 2004-5 is equipped with the most popular Weichai WP6 engine among users. The WP6 series engine is jointly produced by Weichai Power and German company Deutz. It adopts a modular design, compact structure, easy maintenance, good power performance, economy and adaptability, low vibration and noise, large torque reserve, and is equipped with BOSCH electronic high-pressure common rail fuel system. The 6.75-liter displacement is sufficient to ensure sufficient torque reserve even when tuned to 200 horsepower.

The gearbox has 16 gears for users to choose from, making ground turning more flexible; The 12+4-speed gearbox conforms to the operating habits of Zhongyuan users and has high user recognition, with 7 gears within 4-13km/h; At the same time, the optional crawling gear can achieve 24+8 gears, with dense ultra-low speed gears, which is sufficient to meet the working conditions of ultra-low speed operations such as herb harvesting and engineering trenching.

Standard configuration includes 14.9-26/18.4-38 diagonal flat tires, and optional 420/85R24, 520/600/65R38 radial wide tires. Radial wide tires can reduce soil compaction and, more importantly, provide better traction during towing operations.

Using independent hydraulic oil with high cleanliness, the iron hydraulic oil tank is arranged in front of the right ladder, leaving sufficient space for the auxiliary oil tank.

Equipped with three sets of hydraulic outputs as standard, it is sufficient to meet the hydraulic output needs of the vast majority of agricultural tools. Of course, if it still cannot be met, more sets can be optionally selected.

The split type high-pressure booster is equipped with a shut-off valve function, which can be selected to open or close the high-pressure function according to the operating conditions.

The suspension device adopts three types of suspension with quick coupling, which can be matched with heavy agricultural tools. The disassembly and replacement of agricultural tools can be easily achieved through quick coupling.
